Healthy Aging Talks

Days and Times 

 

  • Every other Friday, 10-11 am with the Fort Greene Council, Inc

  • Every other Friday, 11-12 am with RAICES

TALKS WILL RESUME IN THE FALL 2026

To help older adults learn about healthy aging, Project H.E.A.L. hosts talks every two weeks with our community partners.

Nursing, medical, and occupational therapy students from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University will visit older adult centers in person to help with discussions.

You can go in person to one of the participating older adult centers or join via Zoom (see links above).

Topics:

 

Project H.E.A.L talks include a broad range of topics related to our 4M Framework [insert link to page] (i.e., What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility).
