Healthy Aging Education Talks 

Days and Times 

 

  • Every other Friday, 10-11 am in English with the Fort Greene Council, Inc

  • Every other Friday, 11-12 am in Spanish with RAICES

To help older adults learn about healthy aging, Project H.E.A.L. hosts health talks every two weeks in English and Spanish with two community partners: Fort Greene Council, Inc. and RAICES: Spanish-speaking Elderly Council. 

Nursing, medical, and occupational therapy students from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University visit senior centers in person to help with discussions.

You can go in person to one of the participating senior centers [insert links to partner pages] or join via Zoom (see links above).

Project H.E.A.L talks include a broad range of topics related to our 4M Framework [insert link to page] (i.e., What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility).
